Host Gator

Having your own hosting account allows you to own your own website or blog that you can do with what you will.

Domains and hosting are two sides of the same coin. If you purchased a domain from Go daddy simply for the purpose of forwarding it to an affiliate link, then you will not need your own hosting account.

If however, you are wanting your own website or blog so that you can brand your business and differentiate yourself from the masses, you will need a hosting account.

Why HostGator?

1. Price – Depending on your needs you can get a new hosting account for as little as $3.96 a month.

2. Dependability – HostGator is known for their dependable servers. You will not have to worry about your site going down unexpectedly with HostGator.

3. Support – HostGator has a fantastic knowledge base for answering frequently asked questions and if you need live support they are second to none.

QUESTION: You recomend to get an Domain name from Go Daddy and host it at HostGator, but there is a big question: WHY?

Is not better to have only one single payment, all the services, all the tools and all in one, everything from one single company, like GoDaddy or HostGator ???

Also,WHY you ask many time to write down my name and email??? Until now i give to you 4 time my info and i think is not necessary to ask the same question many tome over and over.
Maby you get mad for my questions but even for the first time visitors is very not good impression.

    • Hi Geo, I would be happy to answer your questions.

      1) There are several reasons to purchase your domains separate from your hosting provider.

      a) Go Daddy is typically cheaper than Host Gator for domain names. Host Gator however has a far superior hosting environment. By separating, you get the best of both.

      b) If you have a website, you may at some point in the future want to change hosting providers for a variety of reasons. Having your domain registered somewhere else makes this transition much easier.

      c) If you do business online, you will likely acquire many domains over time that are used for different things. Having all your domains in 1 place (regardless of if they host a website or simply forward to an affiliate link) makes managing them much easier.

      d) It’s more secure. If your web server ever gets hacked, at least they can’t mess with your domain’s DNS settings.

      e) I’m sure there are other points as well. If you are interested in researching further, a simple Google search will give you all the info you need.

      2) I did a search for you and I see you are opted into our business list. This list provides the opportunity to opt into other lists with info related to specific opportunities. • Hey Jose, thanks for the comment. I’ve never used namecheap myself since I’ve been using Go Daddy for so long and all my domains are there, but I’ve heard good things about them.
